Jack Barkin, M.D. is Chief of Staff at Humber River Regional Hospital and Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Toronto. He is also an Adjunct Clinical Professor, Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto. In addition, Dr. Barkin is Director of the Male Health Centre in Toronto, a semi-private specialty clinic that focuses on the diagnosis and management of male sexual health problems and diseases of the prostate.
Dr. Barkin has been involved in clinical research for 20 years and has been the principal investigator in many Canadian and international clinical drug trials. His clinical and research interests include erectile dysfunction, prostate diseases, male menopause, bladder cancer, interstitial cystitis and infertility.
Dr. Barkin graduated with honours from medical school at the University of Toronto. He served on numerous medical advisory boards and has been published extensively in medical and urology journals. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCS), a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons (FICS) and a member of the Diplomate of the American Board of Urology (DABU).
Dr. Barkin has been invited to give presentations and lectures in cities worldwide.
